Zrinska Gora is a mountainous area in the Republic of Croatia, in the Sisak-Moslavina County, and covers over 30,000 hectares in the territory between the towns of Glina, Petrinja and Hrvatska Kostajnica, and the municipalities of Dvor and Donji Kukuruzari.
The area of Zrinska gora is covered by spacious state-owned forest complexes, while private forests are located next to the settlements. This area is dominated by three types of forests: beech forests, sessile oak and hornbeam forests and sessile oak and chestnut forests.
There have been 41 mammal species recorded, probably just over 2/3 of the total number of species.

Of the 27 different fish species, 12 are on the Red Book list.
Almost the entire area of Zrinska gora is under the protection of the international Natura 2000 network.

A more detailed review of satellite images of the entire Zrinska gora region revealed a total of 125 fields where from 2008 to 2018 approximately 2,700 ha were devastated.
Subsequent review and analysis revealed an additional 117 fields devastated from 2019 to 2021 with a total area of 2,595 ha, which means that in the period from 2008 to 2021 the forest was completely cut down on a total of 5,295 hectares ( 52,950,000 m2 or for comparison it is 10,590 football fields ).
